Solve for variables
Should be able to solve for variables. For example, 3x=9 to x=3. You should tell it what variable to solve for, so with V=3x/5m, solve for x, you would get x=5/3V+m

allow it to fill in a terminal parenthesis, e.g., if i type "cos(30" and hit enter, it should evaluate the cosine; or, it should just say "syntax problem" without erasing all my typing and making me start from scratch.

Unable to type conversion units
If I want to convert from miles to Kilometer, I have to select the miles option on the left hand side list and Kilometers on the right hand side list. It would be easier to type mi and then say "20" and tab to the right hand side and change the already selected option by typing the appropriate keywords e.g. "km ".

Custom and common scientific/engineering/mathematical formula inputs
Basically being able to calculate your own (or an alreasy known e.g. GPE = mxhxg) by only specifying the formula, units and unknown quantities, also should be fully rearrangeable ideally.
